Telugu girl Sri Divya is not finding time to do Telugu movie. Divya, who made her debut with Maruthi’s Bus Stop and shot to fame with Mallela Theeram Lo Sirimalle Chettu, is now on a roll with slew of big ticket Tamil films.
“I’m busy with three Tamil films right now and I can’t sign another film. I want to do Telugu movie as I’ve my roots there but I don’t have time,” says Sri Divya who is paired up with Rana Daggubati in Bangalore Natkal, Tamil remake of Malayalam hit Bangalore Days.
Divya will be seen reprising the role of Nazriya in the original. As Nazriya’s performance won accolades and reviews, Divya took it up as a challenge and trying to bring her own style to the role. Divya says she initially hesitant to pair up with taller actor Rana Daggubati.
But she was convinced after cinematographer Guhan assured her that the duo would look good on screen. Ask her why she is shying away from glam roles? Pat comes reply. Divya says, “There are many actresses for the glam roles but only a few can be homely. Glam roles are not my cup of tea. They won’t suit me.”
