Thalapathy Vijay’s much-anticipated 69th and final film, titled Jana Nayagan (The People’s Leader), is set for a grand worldwide theatrical release on January 9, 2026. Produced by KVN Productions, the film strategically arrives on a festive five-day weekend, ensuring a massive opening.
Vijay, known for delivering blockbuster hits during the Pongal season, is once again poised to dominate the box office. The film will have a pan-India release in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi, with Phars Film handling the grand distribution.
Adding to the excitement, the star-studded cast includes Pooja Hegde, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Bobby Deol, Priyamani, Prakash Raj, Narein, and Mamitha Baiju of Premalu fame.
Directed by H. Vinoth, this marks KVN Productions’ first major pan-India project. The film’s music will be composed by Anirudh Ravichander, continuing his successful collaboration with Vijay. Other key crew members include cinematographer Sathyan Sooryan, editor Pradeep E. Ragav, and action choreographer Anl Arasu.
Leading the production is Venkat K. Narayana, with Jagadish Palanisamy and Lohith serving as co-producers. With Vijay’s final big-screen appearance, fans are gearing up for an unforgettable farewell celebration!
