Tharun Bhascker is set to headline an upcoming film directed by debutant Sajeev AR, with Eesha Rebba playing the female lead. The film is jointly produced by S Originals and Movie Verse Studios.
Today, the makers unveiled the film’s intriguing title—Om Shanti Shanti Shantihi—through a striking poster and a concept video presented in 2D format. The title poster alone sets the tone of the film, hinting at a rustic backdrop. It intriguingly portrays a conflict between the lead pair without revealing their faces, adding a layer of mystery.
The concept video offers further insight into the storyline. Eesha Rebba plays a spirited village woman named Kondaveeti Prashanti, who gets married to Ambati Omkar Naidu, portrayed by Tharun Bhascker. However, their married life takes a dramatic turn, with their emotional and interpersonal battles symbolically depicted through cockfights—adding a unique cultural flavor to the narrative.
The concept and presentation stand out for their originality. Composer Jay Krish enriches the rural setting with an enchanting and earthy score, perfectly complementing the film’s tone.
Om Shanti Shanti Shantihi is scheduled to hit theatres on August 1st.
