The biggest challenge for YS Jagan is coming in Tirupathi, not at Tirumala !

It is known that recently YSRCP Tirupati MP Balli Durga Prasad died of Corona. It is unfortunate that he died fighting with Corona in Chennai. With his death, the Tirupati by-elections have become inevitable. It is learned that the Central Election Commission is likely to make a statement in this regard soon.

Now, the ruling YSRCP is very determined to prove their audacity in the state amid all the hiccups they have been facing in the recent period and coming to TDP, they are baffled with the defections from their party and need to overcome a huge steep to secure a victory. The BJP is also moving pieces a bit harder for victory in this election.

Since YSRCP has formed, they have won two times in the Tirupati parliamentary segment. On the other side, though they enjoy a good following in this region, their recent controversial decisions regarding Amaravati may act against the purpose as it takes 14 hours for the people of this district to reach the administrative capital.

Above all, there is a feeling among them that even if welfare programs are implemented by the AP government, they are being charged back from the people in some form. Apart from that, the ongoing attacks on Dalits may also embarrass the YCP. The Tirupati Parliament will have 15 lakh votes including Chittoor and Nellore districts. There is a perception among the people that even if the YCP is in power, welfare programs may not have an impact.

The notion that we are being charged for the implementation of welfare programs is strong among middle-class people. It is learned that women are very angry over the YCP policy on alcohol. Many people feel that they are robbing us in the name of banning alcohol. The Tirupati Parliament has a large number of day laborers. Most of them go to Tamil Nadu and Karnataka for their livelihood. Alcohol prices came as a huge shock to them. All of these are also expected to trouble YSRCP big time.
