The prestigious film The Raja Saab, directed by Maruthi and produced by leading banner People Media Factory, stars Rebel Star Prabhas in the lead role. The recently released fun-and-horror-themed trailer has taken the internet by storm, elevating expectations and showcasing Prabhas in a refreshing avatar, while Maruthi’s treatment has further heightened the buzz.
With the hype already on a high, the makers are now preparing to begin musical promotions. The first single from the film is set to release in November. Meanwhile, post-production is progressing at full speed. The movie reportedly features over 6,000 CG shots, making it one of the most VFX-intensive films in Indian cinema.
People Media Factory’s in-house VFX division, along with multiple top-tier studios, is working round-the-clock to complete the visual effects on schedule. The teams are delivering between 200 and 300 CG shots daily. Director Maruthi is personally supervising the output to ensure each shot aligns with his creative vision and integrates smoothly into the edit.
The team remains strongly committed to arriving for the Sankranthi festival season. To avoid any delays, additional studios have also joined the pipeline. The makers have reiterated that The Raja Saab will not be postponed, confirming a global theatrical release on January 9, 2026.
The film features Sanjay Dutt, VTV Ganesh, Sapthagiri, Satya, and others in notable roles. Leading ladies Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Riddhi Kumar bring glamour and charm to this fantasy horror romantic entertainer. Music is composed by the sensational Thaman S.
