Putting an end to all the buzz and rumours, the makers of The Raja Saab have officially confirmed that the Prabhas-starrer will hit theatres worldwide on January 9, 2026, exactly as originally planned.
The production house, People Media Factory, released a statement on Monday clarifying that reports of a possible postponement from the Sankranti 2026 slot are “completely baseless.”
Producer T.G. Vishwa Prasad assured fans that the post-production work is progressing at a brisk pace, maintaining “the highest technical standards without any delay.” He further added that every department is working in complete sync to deliver a grand visual experience worthy of Prabhas’ massive fandom.
“This larger-than-life cinematic celebration is being made with immense passion, designed to offer audiences across the globe a spectacular theatrical experience,” the note read.
The producer also urged fans to ignore the false reports and instead focus on the excitement and festive euphoria that the film’s Sankranti 2026 release will bring.
Promotions are expected to kick off soon, with the team promising “the biggest bangers in the business.”
The Raja Saab stands as one of Prabhas’ most eagerly awaited projects after Salaar and Kalki 2898 AD, and expectations are sky-high as the superstar gears up for yet another festive box office showdown next Sankranti.
