Donations and contributions have been pouring in to support the relief and rehabilitation measures for the flood affected victims in Chennai. Already, several film stars from Kollywood and even Tollywood have donated generously to lend their helping hand. However, here’s the man who once again stood as a solid inspiration by donating Rs 1 crore to the flood affected people in Chennai.
Lawrence’s donation is the highest among all other stars, with major donations coming from stars like Suriya and Allu Arjun (25 lakhs each), Rajinikanth, Vishal, Mahesh Babu and NTR (10 lakhs each). In fact, Lawrence is one of the first few stars to react towards the flood victims when the situation got worse in the third well odd November itself.
Then, Lawrence, along with a few Kollywood stars, delivered food, medicines and other basic provisions. In August, Lawrence donated Rs 1 crore in the name of late President Abdul Kalam through his Lawrence Charitable Trust towards children education with a dream of seeing at least 1000 visionaries line Abdul Kalam. Hats off, Lawrence!
