Sometimes the statements made by heroines sound bigger than their actual stardom and fan base.
Heroine Karthika Nair is trying to prove all of her talents in south tinsel towns, but never they won her attention. Maybe a film an year, that is how the Josh actress gets chances either in Telugu or Tamil. Karthika is however quick to say that she isn’t acting in all the offers that came her way.
“I need not sign a dozen movies like my mother (former heroine Radha) in the 80s. These days it is good if we do one best flick a year rather running after movies”, Karthika says. That’s quite funny because there are not so many movies being offered to this not-so-proven actress. Meanwhile, Karthika is having strong backup plans because she takes care of her father’s catering industry and then she pursued a degree from London University.
Probably these backup plans are the perks that make Karthika less focused about films. Aren’t they?
