They Call Him OG, released on September 25, has opened strongly at the box office and is rapidly approaching the 300 crore mark. Among all regions, the USA has emerged as the strongest performing territory, with North American collections nearing $6 million. The film reached its breakeven point shortly after release and has now entered profit territory.
To celebrate the film’s success, director Sujeeth and music director Thaman visited Dallas, USA, for special screenings and fan interactions. Sujeeth, a longtime fan of Pawan Kalyan, had previously received an enthusiastic welcome in Hyderabad, and the Dallas reception was equally warm. Speaking to fans, he revealed a personal moment when Pawan Kalyan called him the day after release and hugged him—a memory he described as very special.
Sujeeth emphasized that his priority was delivering a euphoric cinematic experience rather than focusing solely on the film’s theatrical run. “It feels great to see that euphoria on the 10th day in the USA. Hopefully next time, I will be here from day one,” he said. He also referred to Part 1 of They Call Him OG as a “trial ball,” hinting at even bigger celebrations for the next installment. Thaman noted that the energy from the US audience matched that of Hyderabad.
They Call Him OG stars Pawan Kalyan, Emraan Hashmi, Priyanka Arul Mohan, Neha Shetty, Arjun Das, Sriya Reddy, and Prakash Raj. The film is produced by DVV Danayya and Kalyan Dasari under DVV Entertainments, with music by Thaman S.
