The husband-wife duo Konda Murali and Konda Surekha came into limelight during YS Raja Sekhar Reddy’s rule and the former CM of the united Andhra Pradesh also backed them for his political benefits. They have been loyal to the YS family and even resigned to their posts for YS Jagan. Till now they have been elected as MLA for 4-5 times and proved their mettle not only in the Warangal district but also in AP.
However, Konda Surekha hasn’t been active in politics these days and everyone thought they realized their mistake of defecting to Congress from the very powerful TRS party. Now, all of sudden they revoked all their plans and are moving forward with all the energy in the world. Recently, they had a fresh meeting with the activists and asked them to show their strength in the upcoming Warangal mayor election.
Especially Surekha seems to have determined to make sure that the Tri-coloured flag of Congress flies on the TRS fort. Warangal has been the traditional frontier of TRS but now the Konda couple targeted the KCR and their aim is to hit his morale with an astounding victory in the Warangal Mayor elections. In that order, Konda Surekha has been in contact with the party people in Hyderabad very frequently.
Recently, the Konda couple were holding secret meetings with their followers in the Warangal Corporation. They were also in consultation with those who had been away from the party for some time and are finding out backstabbing the congress over a certain period of time. With this latest raise of Konda’s family in Warangal, TRS is very much alerted and is desperate to secure their Mayor seat in Warangal.
