King Nagarjuna and his teammaters have other day shot a picture from the shooting spot. It is like this- “A wealthy guy (Nag) sits in the wheel chair, while his care giver (Karthi) stands behind and the wealthy guy’s assistant (Tamanna) flaunts her charms in a short pink gown“. As we read this picture, we could also read where this is copied from.
No doubt, all the rumours that are in existence about the ‘inspiration’ behind this Nagarjuna, Karthi and Tamanna multi-starrer have come true now. These stills are virtually proving that “The Intouchables” story is what director Vamsi Paidipally has taken and he should have localised the content.
How good he might have got adapted, in the original film too the lead cast are based in France, they go to Paris for painting trips and almost similar scenarios all over. Nothing is wrong, if this multi-starrer is an official Telugu remake of “The Intouchables”, but things will go haywire if it is a copied one.
Forget the fact that critics will nail it as a copied film, first of all one should worry about the legal tangles the makers have to face. “The Intouchables” is a French comedy and its India remake rights are vesting with Karan Johar, as far as the information doing rounds. Are Nag, Karthi and the makers not at risk?
