Bollywood action star Tiger Shroff recently opened up about his commitment to performing his own stunts without the use of body doubles or VFX. Sharing a video on Instagram, Tiger emphasized the intense preparation behind every action sequence and credited his abilities to hard work and divine blessings.
He wrote, “No body double… no VFX… just a lot of prep in every sequence I do. And blessed with the ability from the man above.”
Tiger also reflected on the sixth anniversary of his 2019 blockbuster War, calling it a “life-changing experience.” Posting clips from the Siddharth Anand directorial, he expressed gratitude to director Anand and his co-star Hrithik Roshan, writing: “6 years of a life-changing experience and movie. From growing up idolizing my hero to kicking ass alongside him @hrithikroshan. And thanks to my fav who guided me throughout the journey @s1danand #war #6yrs.”
In War, Tiger played a dual role as Captain Khalid Rahmani, the protege of Major Kabir Dhaliwal (Hrithik), and as Captain Saurabh Patil. The film, part of the YRF Spy Universe, centers on an Indian RAW agent tasked with eliminating a former mentor who has gone rogue. Tiger also made a cameo as Khalid Rahmani in the recently released War 2.
Despite his dedication to action-packed roles, some of Tiger’s recent big-budget films, including Heropanti 2, Ganapath, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, and Baaghi 4, failed to meet box office expectations, underscoring the unpredictable nature of the action genre in Bollywood.
