Versatile actor Sree Vishnu is all set to captivate audiences with his upcoming film Mrithyunjay, directed by Hussain Sha Kiran. Ever since the teaser was released, the film has been generating strong buzz, receiving an overwhelmingly positive response from fans and critics alike.

The makers have now officially announced the film’s release date, confirming that Mrithyunjay will hit theatres worldwide on February 27, 2026. Along with the announcement, a striking new poster was unveiled, featuring Sree Vishnu standing in the middle of a road with newspapers flying around him, hinting at the film’s intense investigative and suspense-driven narrative.

Reba John plays the female lead opposite Sree Vishnu, marking their reunion after the blockbuster Samajavaragamana, which has further raised expectations. Produced by Sandeep Gunnam and Vinay Chilakapati under the banners Lightbox Media and Picture Perfect Entertainment, the project is presented by Ramya Gunnam.

Billed as a gripping investigative thriller, Mrithyunjay promises to showcase a fresh and intense dimension of Sree Vishnu, blending edge-of-the-seat suspense with his trademark performance style.
