Tripti Dimri Talks Bold Roles, Backlash, and Future Projects
Bollywood actress Tripti Dimri gained significant attention for her bold role in Animal, a high-profile film featuring Ranbir Kapoor and directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. While the role helped elevate her career, it also sparked some criticism, which Tripti has confidently chosen to ignore.
In a recent interview, she opened up about handling the backlash, acknowledging that it’s impossible to please everyone. “I always give my 100 percent. If I find the character and story interesting, I give it my all. If it works, great; if it doesn’t, it’s okay. Not everyone will like what you do, but you can’t let that noise affect you. You have to trust your instincts and do what feels right,” she explained.
Addressing concerns about being typecast in “overtly sexualised” roles, Tripti firmly rejected the idea. She emphasized that her goal is to take on a variety of roles that excite her and challenge her as an actor. “The aim is to portray diverse characters that keep me engaged. I want to walk onto a set and feel challenged, wondering how I will bring the character to life. That’s what excites me,” she said.
Currently, Tripti is gearing up for her next big project, Dhadak 2, where she will share the screen with Siddhant Chaturvedi, promising more exciting performances ahead.
