While the editors of all news channels have already gathered together for an emergency meeting to condemn the “ban” on channels, the Tollywood has finalized official spokespersons to talk about any issue related to the Telugu film industry.
Sources informed that presidents and secretaries of important industry bodies like Film Chamber, Producer’s Council and MAA will be acting as official spokespersons.
Along with them likes of Tammareddy Bharadwaj and others will get the same position. Couple of women artistes will also be accorded the same status.Altogether 10 members will act as official spokespersons to talk on any issue pertaining to the movie industry.
While news channels are reacting in hyperactive manner regarding ‘ban’, the movie industry will not announce ban which is illegal. Instead, the industry will not “encourage” news channels at all.
Which means, the two news channels TV9 and NTV that got the LLP status (special ads and special Live shows) will be scrapped immediately. On the other hand, the producers will not give any ads to any news channel.However, Tollywood will not announce a ban.
