Tollywood Turned Highly Cautious About Results

Once upon a time, if anyone stated that they are going for a reshoot of some scenes, there used to be that typical look from everyone as if they are committing a sin. But thanks to Koratala Siva, who has completely opened eyes of everyone about these reshoots.

“After a film releases in theatre, we cannot do anything about the result. So there is no wrong in doing reshoots as many times as we want before it releases. It is for the betterment of the film only”, said Koratala, while promoting Janata Garage. At the same time, Nagarjuna is also busy asking his directors to reshoot a couple of scenes whenever he didn’t like the output. That’s the reason films like Soggade Chinni Nayana and Rarandoi Veduka Chooddam became successful films.

Treading on the same path, some ace producers like Dil Raju and Allu Arvind are now asking their directors to reshoot some slow and uninteresting scenes though they cost them. In the recent times, many films have undergone such reshoots. The latest talk is that even Raja The Great and Rangasthalam 1985 are also filming some scenes again as the first version didn’t convince the makers. Though Megastar Chiru is known for changing the pace of film through his inputs in the editing room, now he’s also advising his son to go for reshoots to make a scene better.

All in all, Tollywood became over cautious about the result and hence taking huge care before the release of a movie itself such that the end-product will be attractive and money-spinning.
