A lot has been said and written about why Deepika Padukone is refraining herself from signing any new projects post ‘Padmaavat’.While the buzz about her marriage with Ranveer Singh has been doing rounds for quite some time now, some say it’s her neck and shoulder injury that’s keeping her from signing any film.
However, according to a report, the major reason for Deepika not accepting any film offer is the quality of roles which are being offered to her.Deepika apparently wants to do more character oriented roles post ‘Padmaavat’ and the films which are being offered to her have no such scope for it.
She wants a role that offers her as much to do as her male counterpart in the film, adds the report.Apart from this, it is also reported that the remuneration is also one of the reasons why the actress is not signing the dotted line.
Apparently, Deepika is asking for the kind of money that no major production house is willing to offer leading ladies.Hope everything is sorted and fans get to see the leggy lass back in action.
