After almost out-grossing Salman Khan’s Tubelight internationally on first two days, Allu Arjun’s DJ (Duvvada Jagannadham) is continuing its impressive box-office run more than estimated, all thanks to the trend-setting Baahubali.
The opening weekend figures of Duvvada Jagannadham show that it is playing well to the audiences, despite mixed talk from critics and day-1 goers. Domestically, including two Telugu speaking states, the film’s share has outpaced 40 Crore mark already and managed to gain Rs 45 Crore worldwide. Globally, the commercial entertainer which has Pooja Hegde as leading lady grossed around 64 Crores in the first weekend. Overall, DJ is likely to go high on Monday as well considering that’s a public holiday due to Ramzan festival. On other hand, the film director Harish Shankar and producer Dil Raju exudes confidence that the film will emerge out to be biggest in Bunny’s career.
