This week’s new releases have gone off to a flier at the box office. Both Supreme and 24 opened on a very strong note. Supreme has arrived a day earlier than 24 and made the most of the vacuum. The film collected around Rs. 4 crores on its day one in Telugu states alone. Despite 24’s release, Supreme remained to be strong on day two also.
Supreme’s collections dropped slightly today as 24 is showing signs of a blockbuster with people thronging to the theaters in big numbers. 24 is Surya’s biggest ever opener in Telugu states and has good chances to become the number one grosser in his career. Talk for 24 is very good all over as people are raving about the novel concept and Surya’s performance.
Supreme should continue to hold its ground for another ten days to enter into the safe zone. As of now it has had a dream start and buyers are hoping that it will withstand the 24 storm to be a safe project. Sarrainodu is running in limited screens in its third week and still getting decent shares in AP and Telangana.
