Trisha Krishnan, a beloved star in South Indian cinema for nearly two decades, is currently juggling multiple Tamil and Telugu projects. Amid her busy schedule, she recently shared a heartfelt anecdote from the past that’s capturing everyone’s attention — her experience working with Superstar Mahesh Babu.
In a recent interview, Trisha reflected on Athadu (2005), a film that became a turning point in her career. She was paired opposite Mahesh Babu once again in Sainikudu, and it was during these shoots that she witnessed firsthand Mahesh’s legendary commitment on set.
“Mahesh would report to the set at 6 a.m. sharp and stay engaged till late at night,” she recalled. “Even if he didn’t have a scene to shoot, he’d be glued to the monitor, paying close attention to every detail. Watching him made me feel like I wasn’t doing enough.”
Trisha candidly admitted that she would often wrap up and leave as soon as her scenes were completed, while Mahesh stayed back, fully involved in the process. “That’s how dedicated he is,” she added.
Her honest remarks highlight Mahesh Babu’s unparalleled work ethic and her own straightforward approach to learning from co-stars. Fans appreciate her sincerity — it’s not about comparison, but a genuine acknowledgment of someone who never wavers in their commitment to cinema.
