The activists of ruling TRS party have attacked opposition TDP in Telangana on Tuesday. A group of TRS protesters have set Nalgonda TDP office ablaze following TDP supremo- AP CM Chandra Babu Naidu’s decision to suspend power generation at Srisailam. The protagonists accused TDP of adopting “anti-Telangana” policy and ruined TDP’s Nalgonda office completely. The furniture in the office was damaged and the office was set fire. Acting on a tip off, cops have rushed to spot and took few activists into custody.
Already, the governments of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are at loggerheads over the power generation at Srisailam. Although Naidu appealed T-government to stop power generation, T-govt snubbed Naidu and said it’s not in mood to suspend power generation. This compelled Naidu-led TDP to lodge complaint against Telangana government to Krishna Water Board.
