TRS leaders including party MP K Kavita received a shock at a public meeting when the party MP from Malkajgiri Lok Sabha Constituency Malla Reddy chanted ‘Jai Telugu Desam’.
Reddy while concluding his speech slipped his tongue and said Jai TDP. In fact the MP was elected from TDP in 2014 elections and shifted loyalties to TRS as part of Operation Akarsh launched by KCR to strengthen his party in Telangana post bifurcation.
To control the damage, Kavitha intervened and said Malla Reddy has not forgot his old association with TDP. Many leaders do such mistakes in the past also. She suggested the issue should not be taken serious.
