If any leader were brought into a party from other rival party, then naturally there would be many equations in play and same is the case with Tummala Nageshwar Rao, former stalwart of TDP in Khammam.
Although he never took part in any agitation for separate Telangana, Tummala was chosen KCR to make a strong foray in Khammam and also strike a truce with his caste that was seen as opposed to KCR and vice versa.
Now with the graduate MLC elections all set to happen and with Nalgonda-Khammam coming under one umbrella, it would be interesting to see how the region would vote and how much influence does he have among graduates in his district.
After rewarding him with a cabinet berth, now it is the turn of TRS to watch him and see how much is his real strength in swinging the victory in TRS favour and make the party strong for the first time in Khammam.
