Two weeks after Indian scientists successfully launched 104 satellites one-go, the phenomenal accomplishment is still being discussed across the globe. Most recently, it has grabbed the eyeballs of former United States Senator Dan Coats, who’s most-likely to be the new director general of central intelligence (DGI).
Touted as Trump’s top nominee for being US’ spymaster, Dean expressed ‘shock’ to learn about the remarkable achievement by India. On 15th February, ISRO shot off record number of satellites from Sriharikota space center in Andhra Pradesh district. Speaking about this feat, Dean reportedly said to lawmakers – “I was shocked the other day to read that India, on one rocket launch, deposited more than 100 satellites into space.”
But, the above noise coming from former Senator was not something to be happy about. Because, he totally do not want his nation to lag behind in space sector. He said, ‘US cannot afford to be seen lagging behind.’
The 73-year Coats is most-discussed man to be America’s new in-charge of all major agencies including intelligence agency like CIA, after Trump decided to make him his new spymaster. So, Coats has begun to focus on his job even before he taking it over.
