Since YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was sworn-in as Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh in 2019, he maintained a friendly relationship with Telangana CM KCR.
The cordiality between Jagan and KCR was noticed when Jagan met KCR at Pragathi Bhavan thrice and held various meetings regarding the inter-state disputes between AP and Telangana.
As a part of this, they have proposed ‘joint irrigation projects’ and decided to share the Godavari and Krishna waters for the mutual benefit of both states.
Now, the remarks made by Telangana CM KCR against AP CM Jagan Mohan Reddy became sensational. KCR fired on CM Jagan for taking up the projects on Godavari and Krishna rivers unilaterally.
Against this backdrop, he warned Jagan that the TS govt will go to any extent if the promises made by Jagan go false.
