Bollywood actor Salman Khan was acquitted of all charges in the 2002 hit-and-run case by the Bombay High Court. Whilst Bollywood celebs, Salman fans and several welcomed the court’s verdict, others are opposing. Public prosecutor Pradeep Gharat expressed shock over the verdict stating he will respond only after reading the verdict copy completely. Criminal lawyer Abha Singh responded, “With this judgment, common man’s belief over court has gone.”
After the court delivered its decision, Salman Khan is trolled on the social media and Internet giant Google has been inadvertently drawn into the discussion online because of its self-driving car project which it says will be road tested and available to the public by 2020. ‘Google can just retire its ambitious project. Salman Khan invented the driverless car 13 years ago,’ a funny post published on Twitter.
