Director Anil Ravipudi, known for adding nostalgic touches to his films, continues the trend in his upcoming project Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu. In his previous film Sankranthiki Vasthunnam, he brought back singer Ramana Gogula to lend his voice to Venkatesh, evoking memories of their hit songs.
For his latest film, Ravipudi has chosen legendary singer Udit Narayan to sing once again for Chiranjeevi. Udit Narayan’s voice was a defining element of Chiranjeevi’s iconic songs in movies like Daddy, Choodalani Vundi, Indra, and Tagore.
On Dussehra, the makers released the promo of the first single, Meesaala Pilla, featuring Chiranjeevi and Nayanthara in a vibrant, colorful setting. The song is sung by Udit Narayan and Shweta Mohan, with music composed by Bheems Ceciroleo, lyrics by Bhaskarabhatla, and choreography by Vijay Polaki.
The film’s album will also include three more tracks: a melody, a high-energy dance number, and a mass song featuring both Chiranjeevi and Venkatesh.
Produced by Sahu Garapati and Sushmita Konidela under Shine Screens and Gold Box Entertainments, Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu stars Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh, and Nayanthara. The film is scheduled for a worldwide release during Sankranthi 2026.
