In a first of its kind and much to the shock of all, A University came forward to offer course on ‘Wasting Time on Internet’. Popular Ivy League University started new program by offering course on ‘wasting time on internet’. The course requires students to just stare at a screen for hours and interact via social media and chat rooms.
Ivy League University’s department of English is starting the new course from 2015 Spring semester. Students are required to attend 3 hour seminar every week and they have to just stare at the screen for the duration interacting through bots, chat rooms, listservs and social media.
They will explore history of the boredom recuperation and time wasting through critical texts by thinkers like Betty Friedan, John Cage and Guy Debord. Multi tasking, aimless drifting and distraction are mandatory.
