Not just the Telugu film lovers but the entire nation is eagerly waiting for 12th March as it would reveal whether ‘RRR’ bags an Oscar or not. As we know, Ram Charan, Rajamouli, NTR and the rest of ‘RRR’ team have flown to Los Angeles weeks before the big night and doing everything they can to bring the buzz on ‘Naatu Naatu’ song.
The super hit song will be performed live onstage by Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava. With all the international applause and awards it got, ‘RRR’ is truly the pride of Indian cinema. It shed a light on Telugu cinema on an international level and it is something everyone should celebrate together. But there are people who are pulling each other’s hair on social media regarding irrelevant issues.
Senior person Tammareddy Bharadwaj said that the ‘RRR’ team spent 80 crores on campaigning for Oscars while budding filmmakers would have made 10 quality films with that money. This led to a huge uproar on social media and even certain bigwigs of Tollywood found fault in his comments. Nagababu went on social media and created a fuss by writing,”Nee Yamma Mogudu cheppada 80 crores aiyyindhi ani.” This did not go well with some people including Tammareddy who came up with a media trying to explain what really happened at the seminar and how his words were taken out of context. He said some strong words about Nagababu as well and warned him.
This unwanted controversy before the big night is surely pointless. While the team of ‘RRR’ is out there representing Indian cinema at the Oscars, people right here are indulging in these silly quarrels on social media. Even netizens and fans who are getting involved in these fights should understand this.
