Nani starrer “Gang Leader” is off on a decent start. The film that was premiered in North American theaters on Thursday minted $330k on its first day at the USA box office.
From the premiere shows, it grossed $180k and on Friday, it amassed another $150k taking its total day one collection to $330k. This is second highest opening movie for Nani after “MCA”.
Considering the fact that the USA box-office is going through bad phase in the recent times, this $300k collection on day one is pretty good.
But it has uphill task of reaching $1 million mark as the reviews and word-of-mouth are not that great.
It is Nani’s charisma and his pulling power should do the trick. ”
Gang Leader” also stars ‘RX 100’ fame Kartikeya. He has done villain’s role. Directed by Vikram Kumar, the film is a crime comedy.
