Former Gannavaram MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi, once hailed by former Chief Minister and YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy as one of the “most glamorous figures” in Andhra Pradesh politics, appears to have undergone a striking transformation.
Jagan had previously remarked that Vamsi’s arrest stemmed from the envy of TDP leaders N. Chandrababu Naidu and Nara Lokesh over his charisma and flamboyant image. However, following his incarceration on multiple antisocial cases, that very image seems to have faded dramatically.
In his latest public appearance, captured in a video that is now going viral, Vamsi looks nearly unrecognizable. The once well-groomed and robust leader now sports faded hair, a visibly slimmer frame, and an overall appearance reflecting the toll of his jail term.
The trademark glamour that Jagan so prominently associated with Vamsi seems to have completely dissipated, with the former MLA emerging as a drastically changed man after his time behind bars.
