Victory Venkatesh & VV Vinayak: Comeback Rumors Heat Up

Share

With Sankranti around the corner, fans are abuzz with speculation about a potential collaboration between Victory Venkatesh and director VV Vinayak. Social media went viral yesterday with rumors of the duo reuniting. Their last film together, Lakshmi, was a blockbuster — but that was nearly nineteen years ago. Vinayak has not directed a Telugu film in seven years, and his Hindi remake of Chhatrapati failed to make an impact. Even after Khaidi No. 150, no major star has worked with him again, and a proposed project titled Seennaya, with Dil Raju producing, never materialized.

Venkatesh is known for being cautious in his career choices, avoiding unnecessary risks at this stage. While Vinayak is reportedly working on scripts, insiders suggest that a new blockbuster collaboration may not happen immediately. Currently, Venkatesh has a packed schedule: Trivikram Srinivas’ next film, a cameo in Mega 157, and Drishyam 3. He has also hinted at a multi-starrer project with Balayya. Fitting a Vinayak project into this lineup may be challenging.

Fans are eager to see Vinayak back in action, recalling his past mass hits. The director has been networking within the industry and sharing glimpses on social media, fueling hopes of a comeback. Whether it will be with Venkatesh or another leading actor remains uncertain. Among the possibilities is a story by Nandu, a friend of Bhanu Bhogavarapu, making his debut with Mass Jatara. Reports suggest that Venkatesh is interested in the narration, but the project will only move forward once he gives his final approval.

For now, fans can only speculate while keeping a close watch on Venkatesh’s carefully curated next steps, hoping for an official announcement soon.
