Vijay Deverakonda has intensified the promotions for Kingdom, with just two days left for its grand release. The actor is leaving no stone unturned to create buzz for this much-awaited film. As part of the promotional tour, Vijay attended the Tamil promotions today and made some interesting comments about Kollywood star Suriya, who lent his voice for the Tamil teaser of Kingdom.
Vijay revealed, “For the teaser voice-over, we wanted a powerful voice. In Telugu, it was done by Jr NTR, and for Tamil, Gautham suggested Suriya anna’s name. I personally called Suriya anna, explained about the teaser, and even told him he could say no if he wanted. But he immediately agreed and gave his voice. His powerful narration added tremendous impact to the Tamil teaser.”
Interestingly, Vijay also recalled how he had attended Suriya’s Retro Telugu pre-release event earlier, where he spoke about the immense support Suriya has always shown him. For Kingdom, the teaser got voice-overs from three big stars – Jr NTR (Telugu), Suriya (Tamil), and Ranbir Kapoor (Hindi) – which has played a big part in raising expectations for the film.
Kingdom is all set to hit the screens this Thursday. Vijay Deverakonda has pinned huge hopes on this film, aiming for a solid blockbuster that could redefine his career graph. The promotional content so far promises a film packed with substance and entertainment.
The movie features Bhagyashree as the female lead, while Anirudh Ravichander has composed the music. The songs and background score have already caught the attention of music lovers, adding to the hype. Now, all eyes are on whether Kingdom can deliver the massive success Vijay is looking for.
