The trailer opens with Varalaxmi at a police station, reporting her missing daughter. She recalls dropping her daughter at school, but now the child is nowhere to be found. Running parallel is another storyline featuring Priyamani and Kishore, a couple desperately searching for their missing daughter. The film weaves these narratives together, introducing a range of compelling characters.
Veteran actors Murali Sharma appears as a determined cop, while Prakash Raj and Srikanth Iyengar take on pivotal roles as lawyers. The story escalates as the characters, led by Varalaxmi, Priyamani, and Kishore, go door-to-door seeking help, eventually leading to a gripping legal battle filled with unexpected twists.
In a powerful moment, Varalaxmi’s character acquires a gun and learns to use it, encapsulating the film’s central theme: “Not every woman will be a Saraswathi. If needed, she can turn into a Kali.”
Produced by Varalaxmi Sarathkumar herself along with her sister Pooja under the banner Dosa Diaries, the film also features music scored by Thaman, adding depth to its intense narrative.
