Actor Vijay Sethupathi has strongly denied recent allegations of sexual exploitation that surfaced on social media through a now-deleted post on X.
Calling the accusations completely baseless, the acclaimed actor stated that such false claims do not personally affect him, though they did cause initial distress to his family. He further added that he believes the post was made purely for attention and confirmed that he has already filed a formal complaint with the cybercrime cell.
The allegations originated from an anonymous user named Ramya Mohan, who claimed that a young woman was exploited under the guise of film industry practices.
