Former V. Vijayasai Reddy, ex-Rajya Sabha member and senior YSR Congress Party leader, has announced his plans to enter the media space with a new digital venture.
Taking to his social media platform X, Vijayasai Reddy revealed that a digital news platform will be launched soon, with the official name to be announced shortly. He also mentioned that the initiative will function independently, without any political affiliation, and aims to serve as a voice for the people.
The upcoming platform will deliver news in Telugu, English, and Hindi, focusing on balanced and fact-based reporting. It is expected to highlight issues affecting common citizens, including women, youth, farmers, workers, and marginalized communities.
He further stated that, after the digital launch, plans are in place to introduce a Telugu satellite news channel with the same editorial vision and values.
In his post, he emphasized that the platform will remain neutral and committed to truth, aiming to bring real issues faced by society to the forefront. He reiterated that the goal is to provide a voice for the people and ensure responsible journalism.
Vijayasai Reddy, who originally joined the YSR Congress Party after working as an accountant, became a Rajya Sabha member in 2016 and was re-elected for a second term in 2022. However, he stepped down from his position and announced his exit from active politics in January last year.
Now, with this new media venture, he appears set to begin a fresh chapter focused on journalism and public communication.
