Mohan Babu’s Fierce Look as Venkatappayya Naidu Unveiled
Veteran actor Mohan Babu recently surprised audiences with his intense antagonist appearance in Nani’s The Paradise. Continuing his powerful negative streak, he is now set to play a commanding villain in director Ajay Bhupathi’s upcoming film Srinivasa Mangapuram, starring Jaya Krishna Ghattamaneni and Rasha Thadani in lead roles.
After unveiling the first looks of the protagonists earlier, the makers have now revealed Mohan Babu’s striking first look as Venkatappayya Naidu. The poster exudes dominance and authority, showcasing him striding forward with piercing eyes that reflect unwavering control. His grey hair, thick moustache, and simple white kurta–dhoti immediately establish him as a formidable village patriarch.
The detailing further enhances his mass appeal — gold chains, a retro wristwatch, bracelet, and even a leg anklet add a vintage flavour without diminishing his intimidating presence. A group of rugged men follow him, some carrying country rifles, reinforcing the image of a leader whose word commands absolute obedience.
Presented by Ashwini Dutt and produced by P Kiran under the banner of Chandamama Kathalu, the film features music by GV Prakash Kumar, while Jayakrishna handles the cinematography.
With three impactful first looks already unveiled, Srinivasa Mangapuram has successfully generated strong curiosity and buzz, setting high expectations for what promises to be an intense rural drama.
