Vishal Ordered to Pay Rs. 21 Crore to Lyca Productions

Popular Tamil actor Vishal has found himself in the midst of a major legal and financial controversy. The Madras High Court has directed the actor to repay Rs. 21 crore, along with a hefty 30% interest, to Lyca Productions. This ruling marks the culmination of a prolonged legal battle that has stretched over two and a half years.

The issue stems from a financial arrangement made in 2022, when Vishal reportedly borrowed Rs. 21.29 crore from Lyca Productions to fund a film. As part of the agreement, Lyca retained the rights to the film until the loan was fully repaid. However, complications arose when Vishal allegedly breached the contract by selling the rights to his film Veerame Vaagai Chudum to another production house—triggering the legal action from Lyca.

After months of court proceedings, the Madras High Court sided with Lyca, citing a breach of contract and failure to repay the loan. The judgment has come as a significant blow to Vishal, who is also facing public concern due to his recent health episodes, including fainting on stage during a few public events.

Amid these challenges, speculation about Vishal’s personal life continues to swirl, with rumors about a possible upcoming wedding gaining traction in the media.

As the legal dust settles, all eyes are now on how the actor navigates both his financial and personal crossroads.
