“Despite making huge hungama on social sites like Facebook and Twitter, all latest heroines including me haven’t had that recognition like a Savitri and Vanisri among fans now”, says hot beauty Anushka who is gearing up for a mega carnival of films as her Rudramadevi and Baahubali are lined up for releases soon. Why did Sweetie make such a statement about contemporary heroines?
While sharing her opinions about the roles she is opting of, Anushka hides nothing as she openly stated about picking up skin-show centric roles. “I’m preferring performance oriented roles in few movies, while accepting glamorous characters that need skin-show in others. I do what director says, but seriously feeling like never doing the roles done by a Savitri or Vanisri”, Anushka stressed.
“Savitri, Jayaprada, Vanisri, Jayasudha are the names even this generation kids know. That’s the power of the characters they portrayed. But present generation heroines are quite unlucky in that sense”. Expressing confidence that she will someday bag such a Savitri kind of roles, Anushka signed off.
