What Is Health Update On Sandhya Theatre Injured Boy?


In a recent visit to KIMS Hospital, Hyderabad, Telangana’s City Police Commissioner Sri C. V. Anand IPS and Health Secretary Dr. Christina IAS provided an update on the health condition of 9-year-old Sri Teja, who sustained severe injuries in a stampede at Sandhya Theatre two weeks ago during the premiere of Pushpa 2. Tragically, the incident claimed the life of Sri Teja’s mother, Revathi, while the young boy was critically injured.

The Commissioner revealed that Sri Teja is currently in a critical condition, having been declared brain dead due to a lack of oxygen during the stampede. He is under ventilator support, and the medical team has indicated that his recovery will be prolonged and uncertain. Sri Teja’s treatment remains ongoing, and a medical bulletin regarding his health will be released soon.

Dr. Christina, the Health Secretary, reassured the public that the Telangana Government is closely monitoring Sri Teja’s condition and continues to provide regular updates. She expressed hope for his speedy recovery despite the severity of his injuries.

In an important note, Commissioner C. V. Anand confirmed that the Telangana Government is fully covering Sri Teja’s medical expenses as part of its commitment to ensuring the welfare of the injured. The government is providing all necessary support to facilitate his treatment and recovery.
