After delivering a blockbuster like ‘Geetha Govindham’, director Parasuram decided to work with Mahesh Babu and left Naga Chaitanya’s project after officially announcing it. Insiders say that Allu Aravind is behind this. The senior producer reportedly asked Parasuram to pen a story for the superstar to make a film under their banner. While Allu Aravind went out of the picture, Parasuram managed to convince Mahesh with a script and it turned out to be ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’. The movie did not live up to the expectations and ’14 Reels Plus’ banner who had Parasuram’s dates were given a small compensation.
He promised to do a film under ’14 Reels’ banner after ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’ but it may not be a reality now. Naga Chaitanya hadn’t okayed the script till date and he is busy with the bilingual project under Venkat Prabhu’s direction. The Akkineni hero is yet to decide on which film he will be acting in next. He is listening to a couple of directors which includes Parasuram too.
There is a talk that the ‘Solo’ director is giving the finishing touches to ‘Chuttalabbayi’ script and getting it ready for a movie under Geetha Arts banner. Recently, Allu Aravind recently said that he is readying a script for Balakrishna soon. The happenings during Sirish’s pre-release event prove that there is something cooking behind the curtains.
If Parasuram manages to impress Balakrishna, there is nothing the ’14 Reels’ banner can do. Just like Mahesh’s film, this banner will be left with minor compensation. As we know, Balakrishna is wrapping up ‘Veera Simhaa Reddy’ and he will be working on Anil Ravipudi’s cinema from December to April. We need to wait and see which way Parasuram goes and what will ’14 Reels’ banner do now.
