Who is behind Power Crisis in Telangana?

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is allegedly behind the whole Power Crisis in the state. Although KCR and his team are wary of the deteriorating supply of power, lack of proper measures on time, lack of vision is said to have plunged the state into dark compelling several farmers to commit suicides, alleged Telangana TDP leader Revanth Reddy. This is not all. The state government hasn’t appointed any minister for Power till date and even transferred several IAS officers and reappointed few non-cadre retired officers who would act on their behest. This allegedly worsen the situation and added to the woes of people, corporate sector.
Even Union Power Minister Piyush Goyal on record stated that Telangana government has neither sought its help nor come up with a proposal to solve their power crisis. Although Centre is ready to lend its helping hand, KCR-led T-government has shown zero interest in the issue. Although KCR rushed with a proposal soon after Mr Piyush’s statement, it’s said to be inappropriate.
Also, Telangana government has done nothing concrete to restore Jurala Power Project which has 240 MW capacity and government has not taken any steps to restore 60 MW capacity in Nagarjuna Sagar Power Project. On whole, government deliberately giving up 300 MW power in the state. Contrary to this KCR is now blaming Chandra Babu Naidu and TDP for political mileage rather than coming up with solution, alleged Revanth Reddy. All this is said to have plunged Telanagana into acute power crisis.
