Mahanubhavudu in Sharwanand and Maurti combination generated curiosity for its content and atypical protagonist characterization suffering from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). People suffering with OCD have unwanted and repeated behaviors that drive them to do something over and over to get rid of their obsessive thoughts.
Sharwanand in the film is an OCD patient with repeated behavior for cleanliness. Director Maruti seems to have made enough fun of this disorder which has become the USP of film. Maruti says, he found few of such persons in day to day life that inspired him to pen the script.
In fact, one person in Mahanubhavudu team has also got such disorder and he is none other than music director SS Thaman. He has got the habit of changing his shoe socks in multiple numbers in each day. Isn’t this really funny to have such character within the team? This could have made Thaman to get so hooked with subject as the music he composed for Mahanubhavudu is winning all the applause.
Sharwanand is also learnt to have performed the protagonist character flawlessly and UV Creations promises one more hilarious wholesome riot in theaters from Sep 29th.
