Perhaps sensing this, many celebrities of Tollywood are now jumping into the food business. We already have Nagarjuna with his ‘N’ chain. In the recent past, Kuchipudi Venkat has started his own such as ‘Kitchen Off Kuchipudi’ ‘WAK’ and others. Sharwanand has his own set up called ‘Beenz’. 
The latest in that list is star writer Kona Venkat with his joint ‘Kona-Kuchipudi Telugu Ruchulu’ at Bapatla. So, why is all this happening? Well, the market experts have an analysis for this. They say ‘In Tollywood, a certain level of branding and recognition is attained by the celebrities. 
Without much effort for publicity, a small update on their Facebook is sufficient for people to flood to their eatery joints. But they also need to make good food and retain the guests. Just like content is important for a film’s success, taste is important for a food joint to become successful. 
In the past, Suniel Shetty’s name was associated with Bawarchi and it created a lot of hype. So, if quality and focus is there on service then these establishments would prosper.’
