Not many know that actor Vishal is a Telugu guy and has his family roots in Rayalaseema. Vishal was born in Andhra Pradesh and his father GK Reddy is a producer who made films in both Telugu, Tamil. Later the family shifted its base to Chennai where Vishal proved his mettle as an actor. After tasting success in neighbourhood, Vishal is aiming at his home turf with Pooja.
Incidentally, Except “Pandem Kodi” and “Pogaru” none of the Vishal’s films have done well in Telugu although almost all his film were dubbed into Telugu and released. Vishal is now said to be banking on the same ‘P’ sentiment and his film Pooja (Poojai in Tamil) is releasing today in large number of theatres. Let’s wait and see whether P sentiment works for Vishal this time around or not. Vishal will be seen romancing Gabbar Singh actress Shruti Haasan.
