He might be called the mass maharaja, but Ravi Teja’s range for now remains at Rs 25 crores. Usually his films make Rs 25 crores if they are hits and they make around Rs 15 crores when they flop at the box office.
However, despite having some good hits like Balupu, he has never reached the Rs 30 crore mark. Now, Ravi Teja is hopeful that he will breach that mark with his forthcoming film Kick 2.
Surender Reddy who had earlier made the 2014 blockbuster Race Gurram is working with Ravi Teja once again after Kick. So, the industry is sure that he will manage a back to back hit with Kick 2.
Talk in tinsel ville is that the film’s producer Kalyanram is also pumping in money to ensure the film’s success. So, the talk is that if Kick 2 does not manage Rs 30 crores, then it will not break even.
