Kapu crusader and former Congress MP Mudragada Padmanabham has once again determined to revive his Kapu movement. Yesterday, the veteran leader met senior filmmaker and former Congress Union Minister Dasari Narayana Rao and other prominent Kapu leaders from Congress and YSRCP.
After two long hours of brainstorming at Dasari’s residence, the Kapu Joint Action Committee has decided to organize a huge meeting on September 11 to discuss the future strategies to exert pressure on Chandrababu.
Apart from Dasari, film star and former Congress Union Minister Chiranjeevi, Congress MLC C Ramachandraiah, former Congress Union Minister Pallamraju and YSRCP leaders Botsa Satyanarayana, Ambati Rambabu and several others took part in the meeting and expressed their solidarity to Mudragada’s fight for Kapu reservation.
Speaking on the occasion, Mudragada warned Chandrababu of intensified protests if he fails to keep his promises made to the Kapu community during the previous movement early this year.
Mudragada said that he will not invite Jana Sena President Pawan Kalyan to take part in the Kapu movement. Mudragada also said that YSRCP President YS Jagan is not behind the Kapu movement stealthily.
