Nothing has officially teased the upcoming CMF Phone 2 Pro, offering a detailed look at the device’s design and select features through a teaser video released on X (formerly Twitter). Building on the design language of its predecessor, the CMF Phone 2 Pro introduces a bold dual-tone back panel and removable rear covers, enabling greater customization for users.
The teaser reveals that the phone will be available in two colour options and will feature an accessory point cover, allowing users to attach accessories such as a fold-out stand, cardholder, or lanyard—a continuation of the modular ecosystem introduced with the CMF Phone 1.
One of the standout additions is the Essential Key, a dedicated button that provides direct access to Essential Space—Nothing’s AI-powered productivity hub. Originally introduced with the Nothing Phone 3a series, Essential Space allows users to efficiently manage notes, reminders, voice memos, and other daily essentials directly on the device.
On the imaging front, the CMF Phone 2 Pro is set to make significant strides in its segment. The smartphone will feature a triple rear camera system comprising:
A 50MP primary camera with a large 1/1.57” sensor—the biggest in its segment
A 50MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom, marking a first in this category
An 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera offering a 119.5° field of view
Performance-wise, the device will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro chipset, which Nothing claims delivers a 10% faster CPU and up to 5% GPU performance boost over the CMF Phone 1.
Adding further value, Nothing Co-founder and India President Akis Evangelidis confirmed that the CMF Phone 2 Pro will ship with a charger in the box, as well as a transparent case, emphasizing the company’s continued focus on user experience and transparency.
The CMF Phone 2 Pro will be officially launched on April 28 at 6:30 PM IST, alongside new audio offerings including Buds 2, Buds 2a, and Buds 2 Plus. Additional product specifications and pricing details are expected to be disclosed at the launch event.
