Elon Musk’s AI venture xAI is expanding access to its Grok AI tool with the introduction of a new entry-level subscription plan called SuperGrok Lite. Musk revealed the details through a post on X, sharing a screenshot that outlined its pricing and features.
The SuperGrok Lite plan is priced at $10 (approximately ₹830) per month, making it significantly more affordable than the existing SuperGrok subscription, which costs $30 per month. This pricing strategy clearly targets entry-level users, including newcomers and creators looking for a balance between cost and enhanced AI capabilities.
The plan offers “basic creation” tools, including entry-level AI image and video generation with limited usage. While exact limits haven’t been disclosed, users are expected to be able to generate 480p videos of up to 6 seconds in duration. Additionally, the subscription provides chat sessions that are twice as long as those in the free tier, along with access to one AI agent. Overall, the plan is designed for light users who want a taste of premium features without paying for higher-tier subscriptions.
Currently, SuperGrok Lite is in the testing phase and is available only to select users. A broader global rollout is expected later this year. However, official pricing and availability for India will likely be confirmed closer to the full launch.
