Then top novelist Yandamuri Veerendranadh’s motivational speech in an Engineering College turned out to be highly controversial. Primarily his motive appeared to degrade and to erode Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s image and to highlight top musician Devi Sri Prasad based on their hard work, which in turn to demean Ram Charan’s fame.
However, many blunders have been noticed in his speech by some of the observers. Yandamuri praised Devi Sri Prasad quoting that he was shot to fame and got reputation only through hard work without any background. As a matter of fact, Devi is the son of late Satyamurthy, then top script writer of Tollywood. Unless, Devi had the father like Satyamurthy, Devi couldn’t have got an opportunity to meet ‘Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari’ team. And Devi too admit the fact.
Yandamuri also proclaimed Devi received applause from audience but Ram Charan couldn’t. Can anyone put their hands together when their favourite star being abused by any speaker? Besides, Yandamuri tried to play spoilsport commenting Ram Charan. Does any motivational speaker in the world inspire the audience commenting reputed personalities intentionally? Besides, Yandamuri used singular forms (ekavachanam) to the members of Chiranjeevi’s family. Above all, he scolded the students too, which in turn an indication of his intolerance.
Although many fans took Yandamuri’s words light, a few fans came up with some interesting views that Ram Charan’s hit percentage and box office stamina themselves prove his range. They also felt no hero’s movie is watched by the audience paying hundreds of rupees unless he has the talent despite his background and despite his dad being a number one star.
